730If memory serves, Powerful Katrinka from the Toonerville Trolley comic strip was also extremely strong. Popeye didn't join Thimble Theater until 1929; Katrinka was around well before then.
Quibble, quibble, quibble. Popeye rocks nonetheless, as does your art.
